Bio
Ten years, one needle, one obsession.
Scotty Massa picked up a tattoo machine in his early twenties and never put it down. A decade later, his work has been carried on bodies across four continents — built on a foundation of American traditional and shaped by mentorships from Berlin to Tokyo.
His practice lives at the intersection of bold and quiet. Saturated colour and confident lines that read from across the room, paired with the patience to sit for hours on the smallest piece.

The road
Why I travel.
A tattoo is a partnership. Some of the best partnerships I've built started with a DM from someone halfway around the world. So I started showing up — guest spots at studios in Berlin, Lisbon, Tokyo, New York. Cities I love. Friends I'd never have met otherwise.
